Notre Dame Cathedral. This stunning Catholic masterpiece is the centre of Paris. The building was completed in the 14th century. There are three ‘portals’ with statues, Seven centuries ago they were called the Bible of the Poor. Make sure you see the sensational stained-glass rose windows and the huge 7800-pipe organ.

Attractions in Paris
On the Right Bank the 1793 Musee du Louvre’s top exhibit is Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo.
The Pompidou Centre built in 1977 is a modern art museum. The plumbing pipes are on the outside of the building in stimulating bright colours.
Other sights are the Arc De Triomphe, The Champs Elysee , The Musee Picasso, Chateau Versailles, and Montmartre, the writers and artists’ quarter on the Left Bank.
