Cyprus Holiday Hot Spots

Tips

  • why book a holiday to Cyprus

  • Summer temperatures can hover between the low twenties and the high thirties, meaning it is the ideal place to catch a summer tan

  • Explore the islands unique history. The Tomb of the Kings is on par with anything found in Egypt

  • Dance until dawn in Europe’s premier party zone – Ayia Napa

The holiday island of Cyprus is perhaps best known for being the home of clubbers paradise Ayia Napa. Whilst this resort remains one of the most popular hotspots in the whole of Europe, the other faces of Cyprus are now fully being appreciated too by tourists looking for a traditional beach holiday with an exotic twist.

From the quiet and laid back western coast to the fascinating city of Paphos, a Cyprus holiday can be modern and touristy, or traditional and laid back. Whatever your expectations are Cyprus can and will deliver an unforgettable holiday of a lifetime. Party the night away in Ayia Napa, explore the sandy beach in Paphos or find a deserted stretch of coastline in the family-friendly resort of Protaras.

  • The Paphos region on the west coast includes the towns of Limassol and Coral Bay and is home to many of the islands main attractions, such as the Tomb of the Kings and Aphrodite’s Rock, as well as plenty of beaches and all inclusive holiday resorts

  • To the east is Larnaca, which encompasses Ayia Napa, Nissi beach and the town of Protaras. If you want great beaches and thumping nightlife then this is the region for you. But do not dismiss it if you want relaxation too, as away from the bright lights are plenty of quiet villages hidden away from mass tourism

  • Cyprus is a sightseers dream. Thanks to its location and links to Greece, Turkey and Syria it has a fascinating history, is home to legendary mythical tales and many man-made wonders, such as the burial place of St Lazaros and temples dating back to the 13th century.
