Calas De Mallorca is a lovely purpose built resort on the east coast of the island. The resort is very laid back and is a great place to relax on your cheap Majorca holidays. Many families base themselves here, and take day trips to explore the rest of the east coast. The public transport around the area isn’t the best so if you can, hire a car. The beach of Calas De Mallorca has three coves known as Cala Domingos Gran, Cala Domingos Petit, and Cala Antena. All provide excellent sandy beaches to comtemplate life, the universe and everything. Not that you have to spend your time contemplating. There are numerous restaurants to sample the local (and the not so local) cuisine and bars to enjoy the eternal pleasure of a beer in the sun.
