Hear Ibiza and you probably think of bars and clubs. Whilst this is of course true in certain areas, Ibiza Town has so many more strings to its bow, with culture and history as big a part of its attractions as sand and sangria!
There are as you would expect plenty of beaches in and around Ibiza Town. Take your pick from Figueretas, Talamanca and Playa D’en Bossa beaches, all of which are popular and can offer fun in the sun, including water sport activities.
History and culture lovers will appreciate a trip to Ibiza Castle and the Museum of Archaeology, both of which help to give an insight into what Ibiza was like before the rise of mass tourism. Make sure you also explore the Old Town on foot as it is full of cobbled streets and winding alleys – just try not to get lost!
We cannot mention Ibiza Town without mentioning the clubs. Pacha, Anfora and Amnesia are just a few of the standouts. Do your research before you arrive and you will find a club perfect for you.
