Hotels in Paris – Take romance seriously

Paris is one of those destinations that are so famous and well known that talking about the place doesn’t leave much room for the imagination. Let’s go off on a random romantic fantasy instead, shall we? Imagine strolling along the Seine amongst the drifting spring cherry blossom. Dream about meeting the man or lady of your dreams atop the Eiffel Tower. Or fantasise about meeting a mysteriously beautiful artist’s model in the artistic quarter. It could happen… all you need to do is search for suitable Paris hotels and you’re off. No promises, mind you. Monolithic, massive and horribly ugly unless modernism makes your pleasure button go ‘beep’. Most people are relieved that he didn’t get the chance to trash Paris. Hotels in Paris suit all tastes. Hide away in a tatty garret and pretend to be a misunderstood artistic genius. Within walking distance of Avenue des Champs Élysées the Adresse Hotel recently opened with a splash of luxury and lots of cool Parisian rooms each in the shape of a yacht’s cabin. What a grin!

Hotels in Paris – CanCan the night away 

If you want, you’ll find plenty of places to learn the CanCan. This French classic dance is one of the few remaining legitimate and socially acceptable ways to show your knickers in public without being arrested or cautioned by the police. OK, we made that up but, in a politically correct world, it might actually turn out to be true. Most good hotels in Paris will give you directions to the nearest Burlesque club. The Holiday Inn Paris Republique is on the Place de la République, an exclusive four star beauty in 1800s Neo-Baroque style.
