Although the bedrooms would benefit from some refurbishment, this hotel is well placed for visiting many of London's attractions and offers good value for money.

The hotel was built in 1950 and consists of 7 floors and a total of 285 rooms of which 41 are singles, 215 are doubles and 20 are suites. The hotel's facilities include a 24-hour reception as well as a bar and a restaurant with a separate non-smoking area. A public Internet terminal in addition to room and laundry service are also available to hotel guests.
Location
The hotel is located opposite Kensington Gardens, and just five minutes from High Street Kensington underground station. Its prime location also makes shopping and sightseeing easily accessible. The Royal Albert Hall and the Museums are located within ten minutes walk.

The hotel is made up of many houses joined together and as a result the rooms generally differ in size. Some of the rooms have extremely high ceilings, giving a feeling of space. The rooms are in fair condition, clean, well kept and have the usual facilities such as satellite television and tea and coffee.

It is situated on the ground floor and subtly decorated.
Exterior
The hotel has a traditional exterior which recently underwent a face lift and has been restored to its original bright, smart condition.
Lobby
The medium sized lobby is comfortably furnished and is decorated in soft pastel colours with furnishings in wood creating a relaxed feel.
