Regardless of what you're interested in the sites, smells and atmosphere of Turkey will have you captivated.
Easily accessible in four hours, Turkey is a great place to experience a new culture but with a few home comforts and try out something different to your usual European holiday hotspots.

Cheap Turkey Hot Spots
Ankara - is Turkey's capital, not Istanbul. Istanbul ceased to be the political capital of Turkey in 1922, remember that for your next pub quiz. Ankara is a capital city with a small town feel with shops, restaurants, museums and a serious coffee shop culture.
Gallipoli Peninsula - is known to us in the UK, often through GCSE history, but it is a huge historical site of importance and the National Park is an impressive memorial of part of Turkey's history.
Istanbul - a unique city divided by the Bosphorus river, half is European and half is Asian allowing for a metropolitan mix of cultures making any holiday in Istanbul an unforgettable experience.
Bodrum - is a cosmopolitan resort full of waterfront cafes, exclusive shops, lovely restaurants overlooking the harbour and very much famous for it's nightlife.
Bodrum Peninsula - is dotted with little bays and villages. You can take a boat trip from many of the local beaches or harbours, or take the local bus called the Dolmus.
Gumbet - is a shingled, sandy beach with a little bit of everything, from ancient monuments to water parks, shopping, bars, and restaurants, there’s something here for everyone and the perfect family vacation spot.
Antalya - think palm-lined streets, a stylish marina, top restaurants and designer shops. Combine them all and Antalya has become a popular holiday destination for visitors to Turkey.
Bitez - is a quaint traditional style Turkish village, close to Bodrum but slightly more upmarket. Perfect if you want the peace and quiet with the option of dipping your toes in to the nightlife every now and then.
Marmaris - are one of the most popular beach holidays in Turkey. The perfect golden sandy beaches and turquoise sea guarded by an Ottoman fortress, restaurants and cafes along a waterfront promenade, and a bustling Turkish bazaar are the ingredients for a top cheap holiday.
Icmeler - is to Marmaris what Bitez is to Bodrum. Quiter, slightly more exclusive but close enough to get involved should you wish to.
Altinkum - a great spot for boat trips and watersports but also a lively beach resort.
Kusadasi - the beach may be small but it is very popular. However, just a small walk will take you to less popular but equally as stunning beaches. Kusadasi is a cheap all-inclusive holiday dream.
Kalkan - a small and peaceful part of Turkey for those looking for relaxation. Located around the harbour there is plenty to see if you fancy a stroll away from some of Turkey's best beaches and crystal clear waters. Overnight boat trips from Kalkan are also available.
