Fethiye is one of the most popular resorts in Turkey. It has some excellent beaches and lovely Mediterranean Sea. The resort also has plenty of historical attractions, and is set amongst the beautiful landscape of the Tourus Mountains. Fethiye is not really a place for expensive 5 star luxury, but there are alot of great hotels in the 3-4 star range. Fethiye hotels are a great choice for low cost family holidays.

These hotels have very good facilities, and they are very popular with families.

Fethiye Holidays - A Lovely Beach Resort
Fethiye holidays offer a wonderful bay with more than 3,000 years of historical significance. The resort was founded by the Lycians back then, and quickly developed into an important market town. It has an incredible beach close by, and some of the clearest blue sea in the whole of Turkey. Nestling at the foot of the Tourus Mountains this gorgeous resort is squeezed in between Mendos Mountain and Fethiye Bay. Pine forests of silver fir, Scotch fir, and Norway spruce cover the region. Olive, laurel, and myrtle are also abundant. The frankincense tree, the source of myrrh, is one of the rarer local species. The landscape offers something completely unique for your Turkey holidays.

Antalya Flights - Plenty of Choice
Many different airlines fly to Turkey from the UK. These include budget airlines such as Easyjet, and more tradititional airlines such as British Airways. Several Turkish airlines also fly this route. We recommend booking early to find the best prices. The flights take around 4 hours, and Turkish time is 2 hours ahead of the UK. There are several international airports in Turkey, and its usually a short transfer to popular resorts.
Flights to Antalya - Airport Transfers
Fethiye is about 50km away from Dalaman International Airport. The transfer time is around 45 minutes. We can arrange cheap return coach transfers to your hotel, or you can take your own private taxi when you get there. We can also arrange low cost car hire.
Kaya Koyu - Fethiye Attractions
Less than 30 minutes drive from Fethiye is a deserted village of Kaya Koyu, which means Rock Village.
It’s been empxy since the Greeks *left* after a little bit of Greek/Turkish conflict in the 1920’s. It’s the nearest you’ll get to a real ‘ghost town’ this side of a wild west movie.
There’s a choice of roads all of which go through the pine forests. You can easily get to Mugla, Antalya, or Burdur. There are plenty of buses too. Dalaman Airport is 31 miles away.
