Comments : i would highly recommend a holiday to Hawaii. i was lucky enough to go for 15 days in total, spending 10 days in Maui, Kihei and the remaining 5 days in Oahu, Honolulu. Now even though this does cost more than your usual breaks away, it is well worth it for a fantastic experience. We went end of January and at this time of the year there are so many whales passing through Maui i just couldnt believe it, watching the whales breaching out of the water while soaking up some some or having a go at surfing. the beaches are amazing so clear and clean, the water is warm also for this time of the year it was brilliant. We hired a car while on Maui this helped with seeing the sites, the road to hana is a must see, very beautiful with winding roads and great views seeing some of the culture more so in the little villages along the way. We went to Laihaine many times also, this is a lively little town with a harbour and again great views, excellant food and lovely little soveigniers to buy at reasonable prices to. When on our next island, this had a completly different vibe to the last it had more shops, nightlife, tourists and was so much more up beat. we visited the famous waikiki beach which was busy but still had plenty of space to relax, luckily we stopped in a hotel opposite this so was seconds away. while in Oahu i went swimming with sharks, fotunatly in a cage as it was a very heart racing moment but one i would recommend you to do once in your life time. all in all this is the best holiday i have ever been on and im saving my pennies to go back there again as soon as possible
Useful Tips: go on the road to hana and try some surfing and swimming with sharks

Hotels in Hawaii – Six stunning island paradises

Hawaii is a country made up of six islands. Hotels in Hawaii? Imagine a tropical paradise. If you remember the 70s, the classic TV series Hawaii Five-O will spring to mind (‘Book ‘em Danno’). But don’t let that put you off. Nobody on Hawaii wears shirts like that any more. Whether you’re a new visitor or returning, Hawaii’s six delightful islands are unique in their friendliness, serenity and exotic landscapes. Seaside Hotels Hawaii is a family run chain of three hotels in Hawaii and they’re surprisingly good value. Relax and chill in a comfortable room and enjoy a traditional superb service with real warmth.

Hawai Hotels – Molokai’s beautiful picture postcard beach

Molokai is fantastically private and known as Hawaii’s most beautiful island. But we think they all look pretty fabulous. Molokai is home to two exclusive resorts, a couple of fantastic championship golf courses and all manner of exciting outdoor stuff. Hotels in Hawaii include Molokai, and this is a real gem of a tropical island that hangs onto its roots and traditions. Nature, adventures and complete chilling are all on the menu here. The Kaluakoi Villas is a cool place as hotels in Hawaii go. On the west end of the island, these secluded villas are right on a long, white stretch of beach, not far from the town of Maunaloa.

Hotels in Hawai

ResortQuest Hawaii is a big hotel chain so you know what to expect when you stay there… top quality stuff. Their 26 hotels in Hawaii cover four of Hawaii’s six islands, with an array of condos, suites, villas and private cottages on offer to suit all tastes and budgets. Look for Resort Quest hotels on Hawaiian islands Oahu (which sounds like something Vic Reeves would say!), Maui, Kauai and Big Island.

Hawaii Holidays -  Great for Relaxing

For your cheap holiday in Hawaii, there are eight islands in total, six of which cater for tourism and Beat The Brochure offers you all six Hawaiian islands.

It’s difficult to believe that these exotic islands are part of the USA, and not just because of the amazing abundance and vibrant beauty of the uniquely Hawaiian foliage and flora. In Hawaii striking scenery is all around. Indeed you might find much of it strangely familiar – even if you have never visited the South Pacific before. That’s because Hawaii has starred as a backdrop to many famous films and TV series, not all necessarily set in Hawaii either!

Between the six islands that most people holiday in Hawaii on - and whether you’re looking for your perfect Hawaiian holiday, or want to tour those famous Hawaii film locations - you have the choice of unspoiled country side, coral reefs, fabulous Hawaii beaches, tropical rainforests, snow covered mountain peaks (yes – in Hawaii!), massively expanded (in the past decade or two) busy and stylish cities, and even the world’s most active volcano! Kilauea on the big Island has been active almost continuously since 1986.

Hawaii Holidays -  Something For Everyone

Kauai holidays
should be your choice if you are searching for peace and quiet. Also known as ‘The Garden Island’ Kauai is an excellent island chice. Oahu holidays offer the famous beach destinations of Honolulu and Waikiki. It’s Waikiki for nightclubs and shops. Like all the islands Lanai holidays have their own unique feel and with a population of around 3,000 it's the place to go for peaceful cycling and snorkelling (not at the same time). Maui holidays, Hawaii's second-largest island, provide the option of a volcanic crater hike through Haleakala crater, a coral reef, or bicycle tours, which provide a great contrast to the many hotels that line the seafront. The Big Island is what Hawaii itself is known as locally. It is indeed big. Larger than all the other islands put together. Want to tour the world’s most active volcano? Off on a cheap Hawaii holiday you go then!

Pick your island, choose a cheap deal and set off on your Hawaii holiday! Or plan a multi-island Hawaii holiday. It’s easy to make it from one part of Hawaii to another when you are there, and it’s a long journey from the UK (see getting there), so make the most of it and island hop! Cheap Hawaii holidays are available throughout the year.

Flights to Hawaii – A collection of island jewels

Hawaii conjures up exotic flowers and vegetation, palm trees, calm seas and smiling people. Funnily enough, it meets all your expectations. What a wonderful place, deservingly called an island paradise. Eight islands and several airports to choose from. Flights to Hawaii will land you at either Hilo International Airport, Honolulu International Airport, Kahului Airport, Kona International Airport, Lihue Airport and Molokai Airport. Helpful because you can fly direct to your chosen island without having to waste precious time on inter-island transfers.

Hawaii Flights – A geologist’s dream

Vulcanology has nothing to do with Star Trek. It is the study of volcanoes and there are plenty in Hawaii. From your flights to Hawaii you’ll be able to look down on the islands as your ‘plane circles down to land. You know the TV series ‘Lost’? The Hawaiian islands look like that. High, pointy volcanic mountains sloping steeply down through bright green foliage to jewel-like beaches with a variety of coloured sands. Lovely. If flights to Hawaii, for you, are all about adventures take yourself off to Halemaumau, a massive volcanic crater in the amazing Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. You can even hire a tent and camp there. Big Island has more than its fair share of volcanoes, three of which are active and spewing lava as we write; Hualalai, Mauna Loa and Kilauea.

Flights to Hawaii – Synchronise your watches for Hawaii time

Hawaii is extremely isolated. Almost 2500 miles across the sea from America, almost 4000 from Japan and over 5000 miles from the Philippines. So flights to Hawaii give you the opportunity to get away from it all big time. Real life on couldn’t be further away. Hawaii used to have its own royalty until fairly recently when, in 1959, it decided to join the USA. Because it is so isolated Hawaii has a time zone all to itself called Hawaiian Standard Time, which runs two hours behind Pacific Standard Time.

Visit the land that time forgot. Book your flights to Hawaii here.

If Jack Lord and Hawaii 5-0 aren’t your cup of Mai Tai*, how about Jack Shephard and his mates, from Lost? Most of it was filmed on Oahu not too far away from Honolulu. If you are a fan of ‘Lost’ and are worried about the polar bear, forget about it. Polar bears are extremely rare in Hawaii. There isn’t even one in Honolulu Zoo, which has over 1200 animals on its 42 acres, or the USA’s only tropical rainforest zoo, Pana’ewa, on Hawaii (The Big Island).

Wherever you’re staying on your Hawaii holiday, try and take a day trip to Oahu and do the volcano tour. It will be a few quid extra for the flights if you are not on Oahu already of course, but how often are you going to get the opportunity to go right to the edge of a 2000 degree molten lava flow? Sounds scary? The tours are licensed by the local authorities and civil defence, so you should be *reasonably* safe.

Snorkelling abounds in the tropical waters. Make sure you’re both safe and not missing the best spots by going on an escorted snorkelling tour whilst on your Hawaii holiday. Something larger suits you? Spinner dolphins, spotted dolphins, whales, manta rays, sea turtles are a short boat trip away and you can don a snorkel and dive in with them. You don’t have to be a great swimmer to make the most of snorkelling in Hawaii either! There are plenty of escorted trips that represent excellent value – especially when compared with some of the more contrived ‘swimming with dolphins’ experiences that the mainland USA offers.

There’s nightlife too – it’s not all planet earth! From pancakes to Tikki bars, Hawaii has no problems providing wonderful and exotic food and out of all the places in the USA you could travel to, Hawaii receives among the most consistently high reports for great eating experiences - whatever you want to spend.

* You aren’t going to be drinking tea in Hawaii are you? Try this, it’s made from: 1 oz light rum, 1/2 oz creme de almond, 1/2 oz triple sec, sweet and sour mix, pineapple juice, 1/2 oz dark rum. Any barman will make you one – when you’re on your Hawaii holiday of course!

The total flight time from the UK to Hawaii is in the region of 16 and half hours, so you won't be going for the weekend. You might well be stopping over on the way as well, in Los Angeles perhaps. International flights usually arrive at Honolulu Airport on Oahu, but you can also fly direct to Maui and the Big Island.

Transport-wise once there, you could go all Magnum PI in Hawaii and charge round in a helicopter - well, take a helicopter tour to observe the volcanic activity at least, maybe seeing if you can spot any Jurassic Park locations (parts of all Jurassic Park movies were shot in Hawaii mostly on Kauai, but also on Oahu and some on Molokai). Exploring Hawaii on a bicycle isn't out of the question either, especially if you want to take in more detail in the fabulous countryside, as much of the interior on some of the islands isn't accessible by vehicle.

Holiday in Hawaii at any time of the year - the Hawaiian Islands are always celebrating something. From cultural festivals to traditional music.
