Zante, also known as Zakynthos, is a Greek island destined for package holiday greatness. Completely destroyed by an earthquake in 1953 Zante has rebuilt itself in a stylish Venetian style that stands out from the crowd. The endangered loggerhead turtles who frequent the Mediterranean waters choose Zante and its beaches to breed on so if the turtles are keen, then there must be something special about the Zakynthos. Aside from beaches and all-inclusive resorts many visitors to Zante hire a car and cruise the island at their own leisure and for a day trip the Greek Island of Kefalonia is only a short ferry journey away.

Zante Town - the relative hustle and bustle of the island. Zante town is where the stylish harbour lies, a few museums to check out, great bars and restaurants to enjoy rather than forget and home to some of the best Zante hotels.
Gerakas Beach - Arguably the best beach on the island, a real golden sand and turquoise water beach over looking the bay towards the famous Laganas Beach.
Tsilivi - the place to be if for some reason you need to feel a little piece of home. Burger bars and Molly Malones Irish Pub.
Crystal Beach - the nudist beach at the end of Kalamaki beach. Perfect for go and hang out in peace.
Shipwreck Beach - take a boat trip out to the spectacular cove with it's sky's the limit cliffs.
