Minos Imperial Select Class Luxury Beach Resort

Minos Imperial is the premiere Luxury Beach Resort located in the well-preserved, fishing village of Milatos, which is 45 km from Heraklion Airport, in the heart of Eastern Crete. The village of Milatos is the Cretan paradise of excellent fresh quality seafood with its taverns right on the sea and an ideal site to unwind. The hotel also provides a conference room for up to 350 persons and 4 multi-purpose smaller rooms for 12 to 80 persons.

The resort is located in a remote area of the northern Cretan coast, providing breathtaking views of the sea and the mountains, offering all services to spoil the body and soul of all guests. There is plenty activities on offer for all age groups - from sport and animation facilities, various dining options within the resort , to different outdoor activities in the surroundings of the resort. The manmade beach provides easy access into the sea. The Select Class of the Minos Imperial complex is a must to any guests wishing to treat themselves to a luxurious holiday. Due to the fact that the resort is located on an incline, it is not very suitable for guests with walking disabilities.

Entertainment and sport activities are performed both during the day and in the evening with the hotel's animation. There are five large swimming pools (one with fresh water, four with salt water), two of them with Jacuzzi, one of which is heated (from April till 15/5 and 15-31/10). Daily variety of sports and activity programmes such as aerobics, aqua fit and body firming as well as competitions and games are taking place either at the beach or in the swimming pool and at night there are music and entertainment shows. In the resort, guests can find an aqua park. Place for adults and also specially designed for children. A mini club is also there to welcome guests (for 4-12 years old). At the shore, there are jet ski, banana, rings, canoeing, sea bicycle, water skiing and other water sport possibilities. Furthermore, there is a tennis court, basket court, beach volley, table tennis, billiard and darts. Last but not least the fitness & spa centre is the perfect places to work out or even relax while having a massage or taking your time in the hammam, sauna or the Jacuzzi.

The AI programme consists of American breakfast (07:30-10:00), long sleeper's Continental breakfast (10:00-11:00), lunch (12:30-14:30) and dinner (19:00-21:30), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Theme dinners take place six times weekly (Sea Food, Greek, Mexican, Traditional Cretan, International, Gala). Guests can also have their dinner at the VIP restaurant with a variety of set menus (table service). Kids can have dinner in a separate section from 18:00-18:30 (parents are kindly requested to use this facility). Also at the disposal of the AI customers for dinner from 18:30-21:30 (15/04-15/10) and with prior reservation are the Chinese and the Italian A la Carte restaurants (both unlimited) as well as the Luna D Oro gourmet restaurant (once per week upon reservation, with Mediterranean cuisine, choice of lobster, fresh fish or meat - table service / kids under 14yrs are not allowed). A variety of snacks, finger snacks and ice cream are available around the pool between 11:00 & 18:00. Tea & coffee time is from 15:00-16:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks as well as a choice of imported ones like liqueurs, snaps, cocktails, long drinks, beer, coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks are served at selected bars from 10:00-23:30. Select Class guests can treat themselves premium red label drinks, local champagne, cocktails, long drinks, soft drinks, juices, international beer, high quality coffee and tea from 18:00-23:30 at the Veranda bar. In-room refrigerator is daily refilled with beer, water, pepsi cola and soft drinks.

The resort is located 45 km from Heraklion airport (HER) and within short distance of the main tourist centers of Crete: Agios Nikolaos 24 km, Malia 15 km and Hersonissos 24 km.

Sport facilities at the hotel include two tennis courts (artificial lawn with quartz sand), tennis equipment, steam bath, sauna, outdoor jacuzzi, outdoor heated pool (01/04-15/05 & 15-31/10), fitness centre, aerobics, steps or water aerobics, gymnastics, pedaloes, canoes, umbrellas & sunbeds by the pool & at the beach, beach towels, beach volleyball, darts, football, water ball - water polo, basketball, boccia and table tennis. For adults there are activities & sport games during the day & night, language lessons, dancing courses and cooking lessons. For kids there is a mini club (4-10 yrs), youth club (10-14 yrs), children's pool & aqua park, pool with slides (over 12 yrs), playground and special children's programme. During their stay Select guests can also have one day of free car hire with free mileage, third party insurance and taxes included.

The resort consists of 350 accommodation units, 100 units are VIP suites with sharing or private pool & Junior suites with sea view. The exceptional accommodation of Minos Imperial is due to the endless view over the Aegean Sea, the elegant décor and modern amenities. All Select class rooms include marble bathroom (bath tub & separate shower), luxury toiletries, hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning and heating unit, safety deposit box, satellite TV (28 or 32 inches), music channel, direct dial telephone, mini fridge, DVD/CD set and coffee/ tea makers and spacious terraces or balconies. Complimentary welcome for all guests includes bathroom amenities, wine, fruit and mineral water, bath robe, slippers, express check in, room cleaning 2 x a day.

Minos Imperial is a paradise for food lovers. From casual to elegant, there is truly an experience to satisfy every want and a taste to overwhelm every desire. Lunch is served in the panoramic main theme restaurant or Laguna pool restaurant, in generous buffet with both hot and cold dishes. Breakfast and dinner are served in VIP section of the main restaurant. American Breakfast is served 07.30-10.00, late Continental breakfast 10.00-11.00, lunch 12.30-14.30 and dinner 19.00-21.30. Special theme nights such as Greek Night, Mexican Night and Sea food Taste included in the main restaurant weekly. If the above are not enough, the choices are endless. The F&B team can recommend you to either participate in a traditional BBQ with live band (extra charge), or enjoy the very best the sea has to offer, in the Lobster Night, with piano music (extra charge). A gourmet restaurant is also available for guests with high standards of expectations and also 2 a-la carte restaurants (Chinese and Italian). The executive chef and his team with their delicate plates of art will make your visit an unforgettable dinning experience. Dress code applies during dinner (long trousers, etc). In addition there are 4 bars that operate accordingly to weather conditions. All our half board guests have their breakfast and dinner only in the VIP or the main theme restaurant. Drinks in all departments are at an extra charge (for HB guests).
