Key West holidays offer the visitor the opportunity to stay in a lovely old historic town. There's a great combination of interesting architecture, wonderful restaurants, and bars to explore. Then there are those sunsets, exciting air boat rides, the snorkelling, and diving. Key West holidays are a great place to experience the type of sunsets you only see in films normally. Diving and snorkelling on the coral reefs and wrecks around Key West is spectacular. Tropical fish are everywhere on the reefs and you can snorkel from a catamaran or schooner. Flights to Key West - Great for Families

Flights to Florida take around 10 hours from most UK airports. Many recommended airlines fly there including British Airways, American Airlines and Virgin Atlantic. The most popular airport in Florida is Orlando International, but Miami International and Tampa International are very popular too. Many options will be available for transfers to you resort.

Key West Flights - Airport Transfers

One option to get to the keys is flying to Miami airport, and then roughly a 4 hour drive to your hotel. This a lovely scenic drive with many cool stops along the way. The other option is a flight transfer to Key West International airport, then a few minutes transfer to your hotel. If you want to drive, we can arrange cheap return coach transfers, or you can pay for a private taxi when you get there. We can also arrange low cost car hire.

Key West Aquarium – Key West Attractions – Florida

At the Key West Aquarium you can discover the undersea world of the Florida Keys. Daily shark and turtle feedings and the unique Touch Tank give visitors a hands-on experience with sea life, hopefully they keep the sharks out of the touch tank.

Mallory Square - Attractions in Key West - Floirda

Key West was originally a bustling port, and Mallory Square offers lots of shopping, much of which has a hint of the sea about it. For instance, in the Shell Warehouse there are thousands of unusual items from the ocean. The Sponge Market features tons of unique gifts, souvenirs, and local objects of art, also from the ocean. This is a great place to experience the smashing sunsets, which everyday attract musicians and other performers who help celebrate the end of the day with you. Don’t let that put you off though; it’s still a cool place.
