An elegant 5 star hotel located on Hadebet Om El Sied, just 2 km from city of Sharm. The hotels location enjoys one of the best spots for diving and snorkelling on the beautiful beach in Sharm El Sheikh. There is a natural sandy 380m long beach, overlooking the wonderful famous Temple Reef, the second best protected area after Ras Mohamed Accommodation The hotel consists of one and two floor buildings with 718 rooms (after inaugurating the new 48 superior rooms/April 2006) and includes rooms suitable for handicapped guests as well as connected rooms. Around the complex there are steps and sloping pavements; handicapped guests can be transported to all amenities by requesting the hotel bus cart. All Inclusive Food The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-09:30), lunch (12:30-15:00) and dinner (19:00-21:30), all buffet style with various Egyptian and International specialties, served at the main restaurant or the grill restaurant “La Citadel” overlooking the sea. Late breakfast is served at three hotel bars, where sandwiches & cakes are offered. Useful Information on Distances The Resort is 14 km away for Sharm El Skeikh International airport, therefore is takes approximately 20 mins to get there. Entry Requirements On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
Construction Works near the Hotel - Summer 2006
Please note that some construction works are taking place near the Reef Oasis. A new hotel extension is being built outside the perimeters of the hotel and does not affect the hotel operations; only two building blocks are near the back side of the property. Works can be seen from the main entrance but do not abstract the road going inside Reef Oasis. The restaurants, pools and beach are far from the construction and therefore not affected. No noise level is affecting, except for the two blocks of rooms mentioned above. If the allocation permits, guests will be placed in rooms away from these areas. Board Types
