Accommodation
The hotel comprises of 520 rooms each furnished to a very high standard. All rooms have a balcony and terrace, complete bathroom, direct dial telephone and mini-fridge, satellite TV, hairdryer, living area, individually controlled air conditioning and safety deposit box. The hotel also has 175 Family rooms which are layed out as follows. One separate bedroom, a reception area, a bath and an American kitchen.
Food & Beverage
There is a main buffet restaurant and separate A La Carte restaurants: Casa Mia-Italian restaurant, Shalal Snack bar and restaurant and Fish Market Seafood restaurant serving a wide variety of cuisines. Lobby bar is open 24 hours a day. Pool and beach bars are open from 9 am till sunset.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:30), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-22:00), all buffet style, served in the Dana restaurant. Late breakfast with assorted of croissants, danish and English cake can be taken at the El Shalal snack bar between 10:30 & 12:00. During breakfast tea, coffee, fruit juices and mineral water are offered; during lunch & dinner, mineral water, beer, wine, fruit juices, soft drinks, spirits, tea and coffee (all by the glass). Snacks such as hot dogs, sandwiches, pizza, French fries, assorted of canapés and other kinds of snacks are available during tea time from 16:00-18:00 at the El Sultan bar. Kids can have ice cream from 15:00-16:00 at the El Shalal snack bar or the Rehana bar. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like whiskey, brandy, rum, gin, vodka, soft drinks, water, fruit juices tea, coffee, cocktails and beer (all by the glass) are served at the Lodr’s Inn (10:00-23:00), the El Shalal (10:00-17:00), the Rehana (10:00-17:00) and the Sultan Garden (17:00-23:00).
Sports & Leisure
There are four outdoor fresh water pools, one children’s pool and one heated pool. Sun beds, umbrellas and pool towels are available both around the pools and beach. There is also a fitness room (without charge), aerobics, Jacuzzi, sauna and massage, tennis courts with flood lit at the evening, table tennis, billiards (all with charge) and beach volleyball. Diving facilities include a diving school, equipment, intro dive and snorkelling. There is a daytime and evening entertainment with live shows and dancing events.

Sport facilities at the hotel include daytime tennis, ping-pong, mini-football and volleyball. There is also daytime animation programme, evening animation show, disco every night and Oriental show (once weekly).

Water-sports are available at a charge. AI guests have a 25% discount when using the A la Carte restaurants (Casa Mia Italian restaurant & Fish Market restaurant).

Entry Requirements
On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
