Accommodation

The hotel consists of 350 rooms, 51 suites and 13 family rooms. All rooms & Suites enjoy a beautiful view & Private terrace and have following amenities: Bathroom with a hairdryer, A/C with individual control. Satellite TV, hotel information channel, mini fridge, direct dialling international phone. Connected rooms as well as rooms for guests with moving difficulties on request.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:30) and dinner (18:30-22:00), all buffet style, served in the Plaza main restaurant (international cuisine with show cooking). Late breakfast is available at the pool area from 10:00-12:00. The Seafood A La Carte restaurant Tirana serving lunch & dinner (with reservation one day in advance) is also at the disposal of the hotel guests. Light snacks such as fruit, salads and hot snacks like burgers, French fries and mini pizzas are available from 12:00-14:00 (rotating menu) at the pool bar. Pizza is offered at the beach from 10:00 till sunset. A diet corner is also available at the Plaza main restaurant. Afternoon tea, coffee and cakes are available from 15:00-17:00 by the pool. Late snacks are available from 23:30-00:30 at the Hauza Lobby Bar (3 times a week). There are two hotel bars serving AI drinks: Pool Bar (10:00-24:00) and Beach Bar (10:00-17:00). AI drinks include locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, gin, vodka, juices, brandy, ouzo, soft drinks, tea, coffee and mineral water.

All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment

Sport facilities at the hotel include an exotic swimming pool with water slides and another large swimming pool divided into two sections for adults & children, tennis, fitness area, aerobics, step aerobics, aqua gym, water polo, gymnastics, boccia, backgammon, cooking lessons (one per week) and mini zoo. There are various events, shows and entertainment programmes. Calimerini Kids club is also available for children between 4 - 12 years old with playground and children’s corner with separate dinner table and entertainment until 20:30.

Sports & Leisure

Next to the pool there is a pool bar and a terrace. Next to the hotel a seawater lagoon with a private beach is located. There is also an open water area where you can practice diving and enjoy your time under water. If you seek some excitement on land you can have the opportunity to try Horse & Camel back riding. There is a big variety of activities to choose from within the area: Diving, tennis courts with evening light, volleyball courts, billiards, shopping centre, safari, and full moon disco. Kids can find a full time activities presented as follow: Playing with pony, riding the royal carriage, playgrounds and kids swimming pool.

Chargeable Extras

Telephone, internet corner, laundry, lobster, ice cream, cappuccino, espresso, mini bar, beverage bottles, billiards, massage, on call doctor, evening tennis (light), shuttle bus, oriental tent, food & beverage in the disco, horse riding, camel riding and diving centre are not included in the AI concept.

The Hauza Zoo with various collections of animals: Lama, Pony, Turtles, Flamingo, Ostrich, Crocodiles, Agama and Camel.

Entry Requirements

On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
