The Dana Beach Resort is ideally located on the golden beaches of Hurghada. Only 15 minutes from Hurghada International Airport the resort is built on an area covering over 181,000 sq. m. It is an all year round hotel offering 1684 beds on three floors and multilingual staff speaking English, German, French and Italian. Accommodation The Dana Beach Resort consists of 732 rooms including standard & superior twins, family rooms, suites & junior suites. Most of the rooms are equipped with terrace or balcony. Most of them have sea, pool or lagoon view, tiled floor, bathroom with shower or bathtub, hair dryer, WC, safety deposit box, direct dial phone, air conditioning, satellite TV and mini bar. Rooms with connecting door, additional bed, baby cot, 220 Voltage, adapter and cooking facilities (kitchenette) are available upon request (in 74 rooms). Daily room cleaning and change of towels & linen.

The property disposes of several bars & restaurants, such as “La Clef de L Orient” serving breakfast (07.00-10.00), lunch (12.30-14.30) & dinner (18.30-21.30), the “Castello” (breakfast 07.00-10.00, lunch 12.30-14.30, dinner 18.30-21.30 & midnight snacks 22.30-24.00), the “Le Rendez-Vous” (long sleeper breakfast 10.00-11.00, daily soup 11.00-24.00, lunch snacks 12.30-15.00 & coffee/cake 15.00-17.00), the “Don Camello” Italian restaurant (A la Carte serving from 12.30-15.00 & 18.30-23.00 against charge) and the “Ceasar Terrace Bar” (long sleeper breakfast 10.00-11.00 & coffe/cake 15.00-17.00). General manager’s welcome cocktail (once a week). The AI programme includes a wide selection of national drinks like soft drinks, juices, beer, cocktails, coffee, tea, liqueurs, spirits and house wine by the glass served at the beach bar (10.00- until sunset), the Lagoon pool bar (10.00- until sunset), the Ceasar bar (10.00- until sunset), the Piano Piano – lobby bar (24 hours, free drinks till 24:00), the Alexander bar (10.00-24.00), the Abou-Nawas Oriental Café (18.00-01.00) and the Billini (Billiard bar) burred (10.00-02.00). The Discotheque (22.00-02.00) is going to be open from November. Dress code applies for all restaurants.

Useful Information on Distances This property is located just 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Hurghada. A taxi to the next city or the airport will cost you 10.00€. The shuttle bus to Hurghada costs 2.00€. Nearest pharmacy in front of the hotel, nearest hospital – 2km away. Entry Requirements On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor’s visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
