Basking in more than 3000 hours of sunshine a year, Fantasia Hotel 1001 Nights Alf Leila Wa Leila is a prime destination all year around. 15 minutes drive from the airport, 900 meter from the Beach and 17 km from Downtown, the hotel is built in the royalty of Andalucian castles with huge gates, marble paths, high pillars and domes. On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is GBP 10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitor's visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.

Dress code applies for all restaurants; no shorts or swimming wear is allowed. The pools are supervised from 08.00 till sunset.

The Alfredo A la Carte restaurant (for lunch & dinner, 12:00-21:00), the VIP restaurant, the Shahriar restaurant and the El Khema restaurant (all in fantasia area), the Alfredo bar (13:00-24:00), the El Khema bar (19:00-24:00), the cocktail bar (20:00-24:00), the Oriental Café (10:00-01:00), the Shahriar bar (19:00-24:00), safety deposit boxes, steam bath, massage, jacuzzi, sauna, basketball, football, billiards, laundry & dry cleaning, mini bar and loss of the towel card are available at a charge.

Sport facilities at the hotel include health club/fitness (09:00-21:00), three swimming pools, one children's pool (supervised from 08:00-18:00), various sport & entertainment programmers on the beach & at the hotel area, tennis court (30 min free per room/day), volleyball, sun beds and table tennis. The animation team organizes many activities as well as different sport courses. The hotel also disposes of an open air terrace theatre, mini club for kids open from 10:00-12:00 & 15:00-17:00 and every night special programme with animator who takes care of the little guest between 4-12 years old. The Fantasia 1001 night is a show taking place every day in fantasia (prior reservation at reception), including folklore show, belly dance, tenure, sound & light show in all languages and a horse show. Guests are entitled of two towels per day (with a towel card, take from the lobby terrace from 8:00 to sunset). Free transportation to Dana Beach is from 08:30-11:30 & 13:00-19:00.

The AI programme consist of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:00-13:30) and dinner (18:30-21:30), all buffet style, served in the Arabisk and Marhaba restaurants. A variety of snacks is available between 14:00 & 16:00 at the lobby terrace & Alfredo restaurant as well as the lobby bar from 23:00-24:00. Tea time with English cake is from 17:00-18:00 at the Sultan bar. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks like beer, wine, cola, fanta, sprite, mineral water, tea and coffee are served (by the glass) at the Sultan Bar (11:00-24:00), the lobby bar (till midnight), the beach bar at Dana beach hotel (10:00-18:00), the Morgana Bar (11:00-17:00) and the El Morocco disco (fantasia area, 22:30-02:00). In-room mini bars are refilled daily with two mineral waters & two soft drinks. There is also a daily shuttle bus service to Dana Beach with lunch & drinks (mention above) available at the beach bar.
