Attractions Limassol - Limassol Castle - Cyprus
The part that’s standing now was finished in the early 14th century, but you can still see some of the earlier fortifications inside the walls. Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria here. The Turks took over the castle in 1570 and used it as a prison for a bit.
Limassol Attractions - Watermania Waterpark - Cyprus
Oooh we do like a waterpark at Beat the Brochure. This is not themed on ancient Greece like the one in Ayia Napa, so can’t claim to be ‘the largest themed waterpark in the world’, but it’s lots of fun all the same. This is in beautiful Fasouri area, just 15 minutes out of town, and worth a trip as it has over a dozen huge slides and interactive water features to keep your children cool and hopefully wear them out too!
