Hotels in Ayia Napa – Clubber’s heaven

If you’re into drinking and clubbing but you don’t care whether or not you sleep for two weeks, Ayia Napa’s one of the best resorts in the Med. If you prefer a quieter time you’ll be better off steering clear and heading for calmer waters! There are hundreds of Ayia Napa hotels, whether you’re looking for a place to crash or something with a bit more class. Fancy one of the brand new hotels in Aiya Napa? The Anmaria Hotel is just off Nissi Avenue, five minutes walk (provided you can walk straight!) from Ayia Napa’s centre, bars, restaurants, clubs and full-on 24/7 buzz.

Ayia Napa Hotels – Pure white sands and sparkling seas

This resort isn’t all about undressing in the streets and snogging complete strangers. You can do other stuff at Aiya Napa too. Grab yourself a hired motorbike and explore the island with the wind in your hair. Easyriders give you a free helmet, insurance, road maps and unlimited mileage; Google them for details. Ayia Napa's seafront, where Nissi Beach meets Cape Greco, is particularly nice. There are loads of lovely Aiya napa hotels along this stretch including the delightful Aktea Beach Tourist Village. Twenty minute’s walk from the town centre and just over a mile from Aktea resort’s breathtaking beaches.

Hotels in Ayia Napa – Visit one of Europe’s biggest water parks

Ayia Napa is home to one of Europe's biggest fun parks with a huge variety of insanely exciting slides. The park is themed ‘Ancient Greece’ so you can soak up the historical ambience while battling to keep your swimming gear safely over your buttocks on the high slides. The Petrosana Apartments are close to the beach, equally close to the town centre and offer very friendly service with 44 spotless rooms.

Here are just some of the hotels and resorts we sell in Ayia Napa

Cheap Holidays to Ayia Napa -  Plenty of Attractions

Cypus holidays boast a resort that is famous for its nightlife. Grab an Ayia Napa All Inclusive holiday deal and revel in the beach by day and party by night. Aside from the beach, its water sports, and increasingly famous bungee jump, there are lots of boat trips you can take. Just outside of Ayia Napa is the WaterWorld Water Park, to which you can get a taxi, and when you’re there, you’ll encounter go-karts and helicopter rides in addition to ‘the largest themed water park in the world’. The theme you might guess as soon as you hear about one of the attractions: ‘The Quest of Heracles’. This is a huge, high mountain that people seem quite happy to hurtle down in 10 seconds at great speed. There’s water involved of course and that theme in case you didn’t work it out, is ‘Ancient Greece’.

Ayia Napa All Inclusive Holidays -  A Great Place to Party

Dubbed ‘the new Ibiza’ at the turn of the century, Ayia Napa hasn’t quite become the clubbing capital of the western world, so it’s still a great place to go for families. However, if it is clubbing you’re after, you won’t be disappointed. Make sure you don’t stay in a hotel that caters mainly for the German tourist market. Not that there’s anything wrong with Germans, but all the entertainment, menus, and other facilities are sometimes provided only in the German language, which might be a problem. Unless you’re German.

Holidays to Ayia Napa -  Family Areas

All inclusive Ayia Napa holidays are not just about the nightlife. It has some of the best beaches in the whole of Cyprus, with plenty of golden sands and clear blue sea.  Some areas are very quiet and well away from the nightlife.  These areas are very popular with families.  The local water park and marine life museum are great fun too.  Cheap holidays to Ayia Napa offer something for everyone.

Flights to Ayia Napa – 250,000 clubbers a year

If you’re not fazed by the thought of quarter of a million happy clubbers then Ayia Napa’s probably your dream destination. More than 250,000 party animals book flights to Ayia Napa every year and – we must be honest – this resort really is focused firmly at UK booze monsters in their teens and twenties. Anyone over thirty will find it far too insane. There are plenty of lovely places to go in Cyprus, so leave flights to Ayia Napa to the kiddies unless you actually enjoy observing drunken fat lasses in various states of public nudity. Flights to Ayia Napa do give some opportunity for a spot of culture but not a lot. OK, there’s an ancient monastery at its heart (we assume the monks have long ago given up in disgust) and the resort’s harbour front is an exercise in funky design.

Ayia Napa Flights – Larnaca. Cyprus’s main airport

Flights to Ayia Napa will deposit you at Larnaca airport, convenient for all Cyprus’s many resorts. Larnaca is 43 miles or so from Limassol and 28 miles from Ayia Napa itself, with typical flight times from the UK of between 4 and 5 hours depending where you depart from. You’ll find flights to Ayia Napa with a good choice of trusted household name airlines and holiday operators including British Airways, Lufthansa, Olympic Airlines, KLM and bmi. Larnaca is Cyprus’s main international airport so you’re spoiled for choice where public transport’s concerned; there are loads of efficient local buses and taxis and it doesn’t cost much to hire a car. One of the best things about flights to Ayia Napa is that they drive on the left in Cyprus. Yay!

Flights to Ayia Nappa – Miles of golden sandy beaches

Ayia Napa resort hugs three solid miles of gorgeous sandy beach, the coolest thing about the whole place. Three miles of beach is enough to find a good spot in and get a bit of privacy, no matter how crowded it gets. Take flights to Ayia Napa if you like your seas and beaches spotless – most of the beaches along that bit of the coast have been given a pretty blue flag for being clean and having good facilities. Ayia Napa will provide all the booze, pubs, bars and clubs you could ever need as well as beach bars and DJs at Grecian Bay, Nissi Beach and nearby family-friendly Protaras.

WaterWorld Water Park – Ayia Napa Attractions – Cyprus

With its Ancient Greece themed water-based attractions, we guarantee that this is the biggest and best Ancient Greece themed water based Attraction Park you’ll experience between here and, Ooooh… Ayia Napa. This just wouldn’t work quite as well in Croydon. Not until global warming sees to it that Croydon gets 300 days of sun every year anyway. Sarf Larnden aside, WaterWorld is really worth a trip and all ages are catered for. You don’t even have to get wet. But assuming you are diving in, the Fall of Icarus, the Poseidon Wave Pool, and Aphrodite’s bath are all here. Not to mention the Minoataur’s Labyrinth, Children’s Trojan Adventure, and much more

Those Clubs

Carwash – Attractions in Ayia Napa – Cyprus

Not related to the UK club of the same name (must be just a coincidence) this runs, as do most of the clubs, between May and Sepxember and provides a great opportunity to work off all that fresh home taverna cooking

Ice Ku – Ayia Napa Attractions – Cyprus

At key moments in Ice Ku, popcorn erupxs over the sweating throng (throng madam, not thong) in the same manner that foam might in other Ayia Napa clubs. Just think of the health and safety regulations being breached there. It would never be allowed in Fabric. Either way, despite it being modelled to resemble a giant iceberg, ice Ku is still a cool place.

Insomnia – Attractions in Ayia Napa – Cyprus

You’re likely to see familiar faces or at least here familiar voices here. Assuming you’re a regular partaker of the UK garage and house, errr… ‘scene’ that is. Don’t feel like going to bed at 3 o’clock in the morning? You don’t have to – pop in to Insomnia, it keeps going until 7.

There are loads more: Club Mythology has a sort-of Greek Classical look on the outside, and is super stylish on the inside. Scandinavian love Shack, Castle Club, all of Ayia Napa’s best and brightest are still going strong and thousands of young people from all over Europe are meeting up to make the most of the great locations and great music. Want to avoid all the young people in Ayia Napa or at least be sure of some peace and quiet? Think about the months outside that main May to Sepxember/October club ‘season’ maybe.
There is a bus service from either Larnaca or Paphos airports, but cabs are good value and easier. Many resorts have shuttle services. The flight time to either airport is about four and a half hours. From the UK that is.
