Cheap Santa Cruz Holidays - The Capital of Tenerife
Santa Cruz is located in northern Tenerife, and has some of the islands best sightseeing attractions. Its the parliamentary capital of the Canary Islands, and many Museums and Art Galleries can be found here. Its also great for local markets and tax free shopping. Many cruises and boat trips depart from here, and its close to the excellent beach at Playa De Las Teresitas. Holidays in Santa Cruz offer something for everyone.
Bargain Santa Cruz Holidays - Plenty of Attractions
This resort has many other attractions besides boats and buildings. Loro Parque is an excellent animal show that features Dolphins, Sea Lions and Parrots in a great tropical setting. Mount Teide is close by, and its the largest mountain in Spanish territory. Its National Park is well worth a visit, even if you dont fancy climbing to the top! La Laguna is also an area of outstanding beauty.
Cheap Holidays in Santa Cruz - Great Events
Santa Cruz is a great place to be during the carnival, which takes place in February/March each year. It’s a good place to base an exploratory Tenerife holiday. There’s the main Tenerife tourist office here and plenty of trips to the historic and natural wonders of this marvellous canary Island, not to mention Loro Parque, which no holiday to Tenerife is complete without a visit too.

Tenerife is served by several budget airlines such as Easyjet and Ryanair. Cheap flights can be found at most times of the year, but we recommend booking early to get the best prices. Flights take just under 4 hours from most UK airports.

Santa Cruz is about 60 minutes away from Tenerife South Airport. We can arrange cheap return coach transfers to your hotel, or you can take your own private taxi when you get there. We can also arrange low cost car hire.
Loro Parque – Santa Cruz Attractions - Tenerife – The Canary Islands
The Prince of Siam (no, not Yul Brynner, he was the King of Siam, which was some achievement, for a Russian fella) popped to Tenerife almost 100 years ago and was quite keen on the place. Hence now in Loro Parque there is a huge Thai village - the largest Thai construction outside of Thailand. A bit of judicious photo taking at Loro Parque and you can tell your friends you went on a two centre holiday!
Then you’ve got the dolphins of Loro Park, which you can watch being cajoled into somewhat un-dolphin like behaviour, such as dancing a tango, for your entertainment. While this might not be exactly what dolphins in general would like to do with their time, it could be considerably worse for them, they could have become a popular sandwich filling. There are the parrots, gorillas, and penguins in abundance at Loro Parque too, none of which are in danger of appearing on your supermarket shelves in a tin. Even by accident. Come on dancing dolphins, cheer up. Sheesh, there’s no pleasing some mammals.
Santa Cruz is about 60 minutes from Sofia Airport where your international flight will land some 4 hours and 20 minutes after departing the UK. Its efficient motorway all the way so doesn’t take too long.
