Timanfaya – Lanzarote Attractions – The Canary Islands
Fire Mountain is a must see part of Lanzarote and if you’re in Playa Blanca it’s not too far away. You can take a camel up the 500 foot climb to where the El Diablo restaurant (‘Restaurant of the Devil’) cooks your lunch on volcanic heat from the fiery depths of hell itself. Many a disobedient camel has reluctantly delivered its passenger here and never been seen again. Nonsense, no one eats camels. Except in Somalia. And Australia.
