Sands Beach Villas

On the north-eastern coast of Lanzarote, arguably the most elegant of the Canary Islands, perfectly located on a private lagoon in fashionable Costa Teguise, Sands Beach Resort invite guests to relax, unwind and enjoy. Sands Beach is ideal for a family holiday. Once checked in at reception, there are no roads or traffic on the resort. The lagoon style private sandy beach curves in a semi circle and shelves gently and safely; perfect for toddlers. Make your choice from beachfront, which are situated directly onto the private sandy beach, or Plaza apartments; six individual plazas all of which are built around their own large gently swimming and paddling pools with ample sunbeds and umbrellas. The resort has its own private access to the Promenade so that one can walk along the coast into bustling Costa Teguise in the evening without ever having to cross a road. The public beach can also be accessed from this point.

Perhaps the jewel in the crown at Sands Beach is the Paradise island complex. Accessed over a bridge from the private lagoon, it has an ice cream parlour making its own homemade ice cream and a bar /restaurant which has regular barbecues. Paradise Island also has a superb heated swimming pool with spectacular waterfall feature and Jacuzzi (adults only).

All room types are stylish and thoughtfully furnished and offer every requirement that someone may have for day to day living. Maid service and replenishment of towels is available five days a week. All room types have sat TV, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box (paid locally) and bathroom with bath/shower and hairdryer. The bedrooms benefits from double beds - if twin bedded facilities are preferred, please advise on reservation and most probably, this may be arranged. All apartments have their own terrace or balcony complete with recliner and outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. Baby cots are available on request. Studios with pull down bed and sofa bed offer a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave and fridge freezer. One bedroom Junior apartments are with separate bedroom and living area with sofa bed providing a partial kitchen comprising of a two ring hob, small fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. One bedroom apartment offer a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with pull down bed and sofa bed and a separate bedroom. One bed beachfront apartment with the same equipment but situated directly facing the private lagoon. Two bedroom apartments are similar to the one bedroom apartments with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The resort boasts its own buffet restaurant La Hacienda with international dishes and show cooking and its snack restaurant Mai Tai with barbecue and snacks. For those who prefer to cater for themselves, there is an excellent and well stocked supermarket. If one likes the idea of gourmet food to enjoy in the apartment, there is also a take away service during the evening.

One could be forgiven for wanting to simply idle your time away here enjoying the fabulous pools and beach or by taking advantage of the on site Jacuzzi and massage facilities. For the more energetic holidaymaker, Sands Beach Resort can arrange scuba diving, windsurfing, horse riding, boating deep-sea fishing or mountain biking. There is also an excellent 18-hole championship golf course designed by John Harris, a 5-minute drive away. A great day out for all the family at the water park Aquapark, a 5-minute drive from Sands Beach Resort. Tickets are available at the Reception. On site there is a fully equipped games room with pool, snooker and table tennis tables. There is also a gym and a tennis court (payable locally). There is regular day and night entertainment with quiz nights, live music and shows.
