Costa Teguise is a lovely resort with a friendly atmosphere.  It was originally built for wealthy visitors, so most of the hotels and facilities are a very high standard.  Over time the resort has broadened its appeal to a wider range of families, so a range of budget accommodation has also become available.

Hotels in Costa Teguise -  Luxury Hotels

This resort offers a range great hotels in the 4-5 star range.  These hotels have excellent facilities, and most have a very good location.  Out of the 5 star options, we strongly recommend Gran Melia Salinas.  However, the resort has several 4 star hotels which are moving toward the 5 star standard.  These include the Beatriz Costa Spa, the Occidental Grand Teguise Playa and the Sands Beach Villas.

Costa Teguise Hotels -  3 Star and Budget Options

This resort now has plenty of cheaper accommodation available.  The 3 star hotels are a very good standard, and the budget options are well located.  Good 3 star hotels include the Globalia Timanfaya Golf, H10 Lanzarote Gardens and the Hoteur Lanzarote Bay.  The 2 star El Guarapo Apartments provide excellent budget accommodation too. We have Costa Teguise hotels to suit every budget.

Cheap Holidays in Costa Teguise -  A Popular Resort                         

A great resort choice for your cheap Lanzarote holidays. This man made resort was developed in the early 1970's.  It started out as an exclusive destination, where only the rich and famous could afford to visit.  Over time though, it has become far less expensive and opened its arms to the mass market of tourists.  Its now a great location for families, and has a very laid back atmosphere. Costa Teguise is one of the smarter places to stay on your holiday to Lanzarote; it has quite a different atmosphere to Playa Blanca holiday. You’ll be handy for the only golf course on the island too.

Low Cost Costa Teguise Holidays -  Fantastic Beaches 

The resort has four of Lanzarote's best beaches.  Unlike some of the Canary's volcanic areas, these beaches have beautiful golden sands and they're great for relaxing.  Windsurfing in popular here too.  Every July, Costa Teguise hosts the Professional Windsurfers Association World Cup, and there are plenty of cheap schools for beginners.  There's a good variety of nightlife here, and the weather is great at all times of the year.  Cost Teguise is a suitable Canaries holidays destination for young families.

The Little Devils of Teguise have been a popular tradition here for over 500 years. Goats used to be involved to an extent. Well, the little devils looked a little bit goat-like. They weren’t actually goats. Over the past half a millennium times have changed though, and the little devils are more up-to-date, they’re bulls now, which is a good thing as goats all too often get a bad press, frequently being unfairly associated with devils. Grimm has something to say on the subject of why goats are often associated with evil in one of his 19th Century fairy tales, but it’s too unpleasant to go into here. A cheap holiday to Costa Tequise is a great choice for your holidays.

Lanzarote is served by several budget airlines, including Easyjet and Ryanair.  Cheap flights can be found at most times of the year, but we recommend booking early to get the best prices.  Flights take about 4 hours from most UK airports.
